Hey Jasper,

Memorial Day Weekend was a very good one for you. We flew to Birmingham to make a surprise visit for Cousin Quynh’s high school graduation. You got to meet Quynh and Uncle Mark for the first time as well as see Babcia & Jaj and Uncle Matt, Aunt Kim, and Colin & Maeve for the firs time in 10 months.

They commented how much you have grown- which is something we have taken for granted because we are with you every day. But it was the first time the whole “Connecticut” family was together.

While we were in Northern Alabama we realized that we are simply not made for the heat. The temperature was in the high 90s with high humidity- and the people from Seattle were nearly melting!

During the trip we also drove to Memphis to see where Quynh will be going to college and visit the Zoo there. That means you added THREE more states on the trip, bringing your total to 8 states!
