It’s another week with more progress. Jasper is now N-G Tube-free!

Since Wednesday, he is exclusively eating via bottle and breast! On top of that, another step in his progress towards independence has been the removal of his scheduled feeding; he now cues when he wants his breast milk- which is about every 2 1/2 hours. And proof of his love for mama’s milk is today’s milestone- he broke 2kg and now weigh a nice 2032g.

These are all positive steps to getting the little man out of the NICU.

Keep on sucking, swallowing, and growing Jasper! We love you so incredibly much and want you home in West Seattle with us as soon as you’re ready.
